Twice upon time there was a Gentle Brent. And as Gentle Brent came and Gentle Brent went, he'd whistle sweet carols to his lil' heart's content. Bertie, a nosy neighbor, the bluest bluebird, surely thought Gentle Brent to be outright absurd, yet he'd grown a bit accustomed to these little carols that he heard.
"Dearest Gentle Brent," he said with the charmingest of lisps. "Here is some sugar and here is a whisk, won't you please bake me up a magical musical song-disk?"
"Yes Bertie," Brent obliged, "I think that'd be handy. I'll make you a musical disk more heavenly than candy."
So Gentle Brent did, and presented it to Bertie, who grinned a grin to win all grins, chirped "just dandy!"
This round magical song disk poofed and popped into this funny little world between the years of 2013 and 2015 of the Common Era.
'Twas both RECORDED & MIXED by JASON BALL and MASTERED by PETER LETROS at WRECKHOUSE MASTERING. Songs heard within
were composopiled, sung (sunk), performed and perfumed by GENTLE BRENT (Not once known as Brent Randall). But he didn't act alone; he was joined on the drums, drummerly by MARSHALL BUREAU; and on the jangle-fangled guitars (guitarsipan) one Jim MacAulay. The ever wonderous DOCTOR EW (Drew Smith) sang sweet harmonious harmondees as did JASON BALL himselfs (he tinkled some perucssion too!). MAT DUNLAP wrapped it all up in ribbons and bows with his handsome PHOTOGRAPHY, DESIGN & LAYOUT (far-out.) And the illustrious illustrated LETTERING you say? Why that was handily hand-drawn-spun with the perfect pen of STEVEN MILLINGTON (Dry British). And that, dear friendlies, is the truth!
